I am excited about this opportunity to express my thoughts, and thank you for showing interest and sparing your time.
I was born in SAGAR ā Madhya Pradesh and did my schooling and chemical engineering at Mumbai University. Most of my 20 years of professional life have been in the Pharma Machinery domain. I am fortunate to have worked with some of the best brands within our industry, like Millipore (Merck), GEA Pharma, CN Water and Pharmalab. With every brand, I had an opportunity to learn something new; for example, in my current assignment, I got a chance to learn the nuances of Rules and Regulations and the industry’s business drivers.
In my two decades of journey, I have seen a massive shift in the approach of the Indian Drug manufacturers and their vendors or the so-called “local equipment suppliers”. Both have been moving hand-in-hand, evolving together and improving day by day. I would say that majority of the community has moved to the “Risk-based” approach. Today, the industry has transformed into an exceptional knowledge bank. OEMs like Pharmalab, whose philosophy is to learn and evolve continuously, are equipped to manufacture world-class equipment that is Robust, Versatile and Compendial to meet the highest regulatory requirements. The latest feather to the cap is exporting Pharmalab equipment to an Engineering-hub country like Germany.
Over the decade, Pharmalab has not just added the products but also mastered them, and now the brand has become synonymous with quality and service. Yet, amidst the changing time, the core of the Pharmalab brand ā the customer-centric approach in everything we do, right from product development to an assurance of life-long service, has been intact.
At Pharmalab, we are driven by Quality and Optimization; we value every penny our customers spend. We have a robust sales function, with each member being a highly trained and experienced engineer by profession. With an average experience of ~18 years, each team member can quickly understand the application and provide suggestions on layout, orientation, capacity calculation & sizing, material flow and other Good Engineering Practices from the conceptual stage itself. Our Sales team is also trained on various pharma guidelines and understands them equally well, enabling solutions to give the best of both the world.
We use a highly developed system that combines CRM and ERP seamlessly; we have a single platform from concept to installation to spares and services. CRM, on one side, helps us record and track each requirement of our customers. On the other side, seamless integration to ERP allows us continuity of data with easy transfer of complete information to ERP to avoid any missing link across the platform. This system essentially helps us deliver the end machine as promised in the beginning with all the features as expected and explained by customers, ultimately giving us a delighted customer.
