EMPLOYEE'S SPEAK
I joined the Pharmalab group some time in August 1993 as Finance Manager at its Vikhroli office. The groupās turnover which was then around Rs. 5 crores has now crossed Rs. 100 crores.
From a manufacturer of low-tech equipment, the group has evolved into a manufacturer of state of the art equipment supplying amongst others, to the top pharma companies in India. It has in-house R & D team which helps in developing new equipment as well as in bringing about improvements in its existing equipment on a continuing basis. It has developed alliance with leading manufacturers in the world for supply of certain high end pharma equipment in India. These alliances speak volumes about the groupās capabilities and trust worthiness.
One of the main attributes of Pharmalab group is to be fair with all its stakeholders ā be itās customers, suppliers, employees, bankers etc. This is reflected in tremendous amount of Goodwill it enjoys among its various stakeholders. Further the group is very compliant in meeting its obligations under labor laws, direct, indirect tax laws, and other applicable laws. The group always strives to be on the right side of law and do not believe in cutting corners in this respect. These attributes have helped the group in no small measure in navigating thru various ups and downs it faced from time to time in the course of its long journey. All this has also helped in inculcating a sense of belonging among its employees, which is one of the main reasons for my association with the group for over two decades now.
